Concrete block rental and purchase
Recycled blocks, new blocks, and decorative blocks in 2×2×4, 2×2×6 and 3×3×4 formats. Sales, short- or long-term rental, and repurchase of used blocks. Turnkey delivery anywhere in Quebec and Ontario, since 1994.
The concrete block, a modular material for your B2B projects
Concrete blocks have become the go-to tool for quickly building robust structures — no formwork, no curing time, demountable, and reusable. At Choquette Concrete Blocks, we have been supplying blocks for over 30 years to construction, civil engineering, recycling, agriculture, landscaping, and event companies throughout Quebec and Ontario.
Whether you need a single block to restrict access or several hundred to erect a permanent retaining wall or bunker silo, our catalog of new, recycled, and decorative blocks covers the main formats used in B2B: 2x2x2, 2×2×4, 2×2×6, and 3×3×4 feet. Rental remains the most economical option for projects under 24 months; purchasing is recommended for longer durations — and we buy back your blocks at the end of the project if you change your mind.
Four concrete reasons to work with us
All-terrain 4x4 fleet
Our trucks deliver even to construction sites with restricted access. We have several forklifts (2x4 and 4x4), as well as a wheel loader for the most complex access situations.
Sell, lease, and buy back
You maintain financial agility: lease without long-term commitment, purchase when the project warrants it, or sell your blocks back to us at the end of the construction. Tailored to your schedule.
Three QC + ON warehouses

What our customers use their pads for
Retaining walls
Retaining of backfill, terraces, industrial elevation changes. Dry stacking securely thanks to the molded tenon-mortise system. No cement required between blocks.
Agricultural bunker silos
Storage for corn, grass, or forage silage. Modular side walls that you can expand or dismantle depending on the harvest. Chosen by dairy and large-scale crop farms.
Material Separators
Sorting centers, recycling yards, asphalt depots, sand pits, quarries. Compartmentalizes aggregates by size or grade without concrete — movable for the next season.
Outdoor decorative landscaping
Decorative walls, oversized planters, separation of commercial or industrial spaces. Our decorative blocks (textured faces) offer a neat finish without formwork or manual finishing.

Everything we're asked for before ordering blocks
Clear answers to the questions our customers ask most often.
Product Selection
What is the difference between a recycled concrete block and a 35MPa block?
The recycled block is cast from factory return concrete (unused surplus from construction sites). Its strength complies with the same standards, but its surface may show variations in appearance. It is the most economical choice for structural uses where aesthetics are not a priority: retaining walls, silos, separators.
The 35 MPA block is cast to order with a controlled mix. Uniform surface, exact dimensions. Recommended when appearance or dimensional consistency is critical.
What block formats do you offer?
Our most common sizes are 2x2x4 feet, 2x2x6 feet, and 3x3x4 feet. For decorative applications, we also have blocks with textured faces. We have several sizes available or we can custom-manufacture them — ask us for a quote.
Should you buy or rent?
Rule of thumb: if your needs are for less than 24 months, renting is generally more economical. Beyond that, buying offers better value. And if you change your mind, we will buy back your used blocks. Our project manager can provide you with a detailed cost comparison based on your timeline.
Logistics and Setup
How much does a 2x2x4 block weigh?
A 2×2×4 block weighs approximately 1,090 kg (≈ 2,400 lbs). Handling therefore requires an industrial-capacity forklift.
Do you deliver to Ontario?
Yes. Our Limoges branch (995 Limoges Rd, K0A 1W0) covers Ottawa, the Outaouais region, and Eastern Ontario. For projects in Southern or Western Ontario, please contact us at 613-369-8383 to confirm logistical feasibility.
Typical delivery time?
For standard orders near one of our three depots (Napierville, Lévis, Limoges), please allow generally 24 to 72 hours depending on stock and delivery schedules. For large volumes or remote areas, we will confirm the lead time at the time of quotation.
Project handover and completion
Do you buy back used blocks?
Yes, we regularly buy back blocks in good condition. The price depends on the format, overall condition, number of pieces, and location. Send us photos and dimensions at soumission@groupechoquette.com.
What happens at the end of the rental period?
We coordinate pickup on the date agreed upon with you. No surprise fees: everything is included in the rental agreement signed at the outset. If you want to extend or convert the rental to a purchase, it's negotiable at any time.
Ready to order your concrete blocks?
