Since the entry into force of the CCDG 2025, more specifically article 10.3.9.1.2 , the Quebec Ministry of Transport (MTQ) has strengthened the requirements surrounding the use of concrete barriers for construction sites (GBC) and anchorable concrete barriers (GABC) on road construction sites in Quebec.
These new rules aim to ensure better traceability, uniform quality of guardrails and increased safety for workers and road users.
